The acute oral LD50 of male rats was 3 160 mg/kg (1 250-2 000 mg/kg), that of female rats was 2 870 mg/kg (1 600 mg/kg), that of male mice was 4 300 mg/kg and that of female mice was 4 220 mg/kg.
Rabbits were treated with acute percutaneous LD50>1000mg/kg, and rats were 4640mg/kg. No irritation on eyes and skin. Dogs were fed 30-40 mg/kg (1 mg/kg) of non-effective diet for half a year and rats were fed 100 mg/kg of non-effective diet for two years. Rat Ames test was negative, micronucleus test in mice bone marrow and sperm abnormality test in mice were negative.
The three generation reproductive test and delayed neurotoxicity test showed no abnormalities. The carp LC50 is 1700mg/L (24h), and the honeybee mouth LD50 is 50 g/.
