Colorless crystals. The solubility in water is 260mg/L at 20 C. It is soluble in cyclohexanone and dichloromethane, soluble in isopropanol and toluene. It is more stable under acid and alkaline conditions.
It is used to control wheat rust, powdery mildew, maize smut and maize leaf blight.
It is a highly effective, low toxic, low residual, broad-spectrum endophytic fungicide with special control effect on rust and powdery mildew of wheat, vegetables and fruit trees.
Efficient, broad-spectrum azole fungicides, with prevention, treatment and eradication, strong internal absorption (can be up and down conduction). It has special effects on powdery mildew, rust and smut, and its bactericidal action is to inhibit the biosynthesis of ergosterol. It is mainly used to control diseases of wheat, fruit trees, vegetables, cucurbits and flowers.
For the control of wheat rust, spraying with 25% WP 6-9g/100m2 and 7.5kg water can cure both barley moire disease or using 25% WP 75 g and wheat seeds 46.5-188kg can treat both heady smut, loose smut and total erosion.
Wheat powdery mildew was treated with 25% wettable powder 6 to 9g/100m2, and water 7.5kg was applied in the early stage of the disease. Cucumber powdery mildew, 25% wettable powder 3.8 ~ 7.5g/100m2, water 7.5kg, in the early stage of application.
Corn head smut was treated with 25% wettable powder 320G and seed 100kg. Triazolidone had a prominent effect on preventing premature senescence of hybrid rice. The yield of hybrid rice increased by 11%-16%, the daily senescence rate of green leaves decreased by 26.85%-33.2%, the seed setting rate increased by 4.94%-9.07%, and the 1000-grain weight increased by 3.73%-4.77% when 20% EC was applied. The use of three azolone in grain crops such as wheat, corn and sorghum should be stopped before harvest 35d.
