Physicochemical properties
Tricyclazole is pure white crystal with melting point of 187~188 C and vapor pressure of 266.6448 x 10-7 Pa at 25 C. The solubility at 25 C is 1.6 g/L water, 33% dichloromethane, 25% ethanol, 25% methanol, 10.4% acetone, 10.4% acetonitrile, 10.0% cyclohexanone, 4.2% benzene, 2.1% xylene, chloroform > 500 g/L. It is stable in nature, not easily decomposed by water and light, and is stable to heat.
It is moderately toxic to warm blooded animals. The acute oral LD50 was 314 mg/kg in rats, 245 mg/kg in mice, more than 2000 mg/kg in rabbits and 0.25 mg/L in rats. It has slight irritation on rabbit eyes and skin.
The inactive doses of 275 mg/kg (8-24 mg/kg/day) and 400 mg/kg (29-46 mg/kg/day) in the two-year feeding test in rats and mice were found to be normal in both rats and mice.
No mutagenic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects were observed under the experimental conditions. The acute LC50 of carp and rainbow trout were 14.6 and 7.7 mg/liter, respectively. They were nontoxic to bees and more than 5 000 mg/liter to wild ducks and quails. Mulberry leaves treated with 250 mg / L Tricyclazole solution had a slight effect on the weight of cocoons and eggs.
High selectivity has special effect on rice blast. It has strong internal absorption and is easily absorbed by rice roots, stems and leaves, and is transmitted in plants. It has strong anti scouring ability, and it does not affect the disease prevention effect after 1 hours of spraying. The effective period is long, and 1~2 times of pesticide application can effectively prevent rice blast. The mechanism of Tricyclazole is to inhibit spore germination and attachment spore formation, thus effectively preventing the invasion of pathogens and reducing the production of pyriform spores.
Toxicity of Tricyclazole
Tricyclazole is a medium fungicide. In the rats, the acute oral LD50 was 305mg/kg and the mouse was 250mg/kg. Acute LD50>2000mg/kg LC50 inhalation was performed on rabbits and rats after acute percutaneous administration of >0.25mg/L. It has mild stimulation on rabbit eyes and skin. Tricyclazole can be metabolized and excreted rapidly in animals (rats), and there is no accumulation effect in vivo. No mutagenic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects were observed under the experimental conditions.
No abnormalities were observed in rats and mice (275mg/kg) in the reproductive test. For rats and mice, the non feeding doses were 8 to 24mg/kg days and 29 to 46mg/kg days respectively.
The LD50 of 20% Tricyclazole wettable powder was 1500 mg/kg in male rats and 2440 mg/kg in male mice.
The acute LC50 of gill carp and rainbow trout were 14.6 mg/L and 7.7 mg/L respectively, while that of shrimp was 18-32 mg/L. It has no toxic effects on bees and spiders under the recommended dosage. Silkworm mulberry leaves treated with 250mg/L Tricyclazole solution had slight effects on the weight of cocoons and eggs. The acute LC50>5000mg/L of wild ducks and quails.
75% Tricyclazole wettable powder was administered to rats with acute oral LD50 of 354 mg / kg, to rabbits with acute percutaneous LD50 > 2000 mg / kg, and to rats with acute inhalation of LC50 > 3.7 mg / kg.
Usage method
(1) To control rice seedling blast, spray evenly with 20% Tricyclazole wettable powder 50-75 g (1-1.5 g) per mu and water 30-50 kg at 3-4 leaf stage or 5 days before transplanting.
(2) Control rice leaf blast, when the leaf blast has just occurred, with 20% Tricyclazole wettable powder per mu 100 grams (2.2), plus water 60 kg spray. The method of popularization and application in Hubei Province is to soak the seedlings for one minute with 20% Tricyclazole wettable powder 1 750 times liquid, take out the stuffy pile for half an hour, and plant again. The control effect of leaf blast is better than spraying.
(3) To control rice panicle blast, 20% Tricyclazole wettable powder 75-100 g (1.5-2 g) or 75% Tricyclazole wettable powder 30 g (6 money) per mu was sprayed with 60 kg water at the beginning of rice breaking. Generally, 1 times of spraying, that is, 80% or so. If the disease is serious and the climate is conducive to the development of the disease, spraying one time at full heading, the dose of the same as the first time, the effect is better.
